Greg joined the pastoral team at RCF during the summer of 2008 and serves as Pastor to the Family, ministering to children and parents. He moved to Reno with his parents and sister in 1988. Soon after their move, they began attending RCF and have been here ever since! His parents and sister continue to be actively involved in various ministries at RCF.
Greg graduated from Galena High School in 1999 and then attended Christian Heritage College (now San Diego Christian College) where he played for the men’s soccer team. He graduated from CHC in 2003 with a degree in Bible and History. His ministry experience includes serving on the summer staff at Hume Lake Christian Camps in 2003 and 2005 and as the Interim Youth Pastor at South Reno Baptist Church for 8 months in 2004.
Greg spent the next four years in graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary and completed a Master of Theology degree with an emphasis in Educational Leadership in spring of 2008. After finishing seminary, he spent over six weeks in Ethiopia, Africa teaching and preaching. Greg is thrilled to be “back home” serving the church that poured so much into him during his upbringing!
