Dan is the Music Pastor at Reno Christian Fellowship and has served in that position from 1985 to the present and loves it. Before that, from 1973 to 1985, Dan was a traveling evangelist, singer, songwriter, serving primarily in the western United States from Alaska to Texas and loved that as well. His goal was to share Christ and his life with whoever would listen with the intent of leading as many as possible to Christ. On July 14th, 1972 Dan gave his life to Jesus at Mt. Herman California and married Chris in November of that same year. Dan graduated from California State College at Hayward in 1970 with a degree in Music. In the middle of pursuing a college degree, from 1966 to 1968, he served in Vietnam.
Dan and Chris have two children, Heather and David. Heather is a Tech writer, is married to Tyson Petty and have a daughter, Gwenyn. David is a Graphic Artist and is married to Joy. Chris is a travel agent and leads the children choir at RCF. Besides being a music pastor, Dan loves people, loves to be a part of their growth in Christ, from the start of their new birth to the time God leads them somewhere else. God is good….
